SUBJECT: Call for Nominations: 2008 Conference Committee Members

As a valued member of SHRM and/or a WI State SHRM Chapter, your participation in the selection of your 2008 WI State SHRM Conference Committee is critical to our success.  Our 2008 Conference Co-Chairs Kellie Dunn-Poggemann, SPHR and Jenny Lowe, SPHR respectfully seeks your assistance in identifying potential candidates for the 2008 Committee. The Conference will be held at the Regency Suites and KI Convention Center in Green Bay, WI on October 15 - 17, 2008.   Committee Members can come from anywhere in the state and/or can be affiliated with any local SHRM Chapter.

Criteria for the Committee Members:

• Commitment to membership and leadership roles in National and/or local SHRM Chapters.
• Demonstrated Professional Leadership
• Prior WI State SHRM Conference experience helpful, but not necessary for all roles
• Be willing to contribute time, energy and creativity to the Conference Planning Committee by attending a monthly planning meeting and any other small group meetings as needed

Criteria Used for Nominations:
The committee will use the following criteria in considering nominated candidates:

•	Leadership and management experience
•	Written responses to questions posed in the nominee questionnaire
•	Other considerations (e.g. references) that indicate a candidate is uniquely qualified to serve on the State Conference Planning Committee or State Conference Committee
